Google Calendar finds your 1-1s

  • Read-only Google Calendar connection, upcoming 1-1s sync automatically
  • Today's prep view shows who you're meeting and their goals, in your timezone
  • Founding member pricing: $19/mo, locked in forever for the first 50 customers
  • Privacy policy in plain language, including how calendar data is handled and integrations being used
  • Setup a changelog for ongoing updates

Google Calendar integration keeps track of your 1-1s. This will help make sure you are prepped for any 1-1s you it has your prep ready before you walk in.

Around the product, the public pieces came together this week. Pricing is deliberately simple: one plan, up to 15 direct reports, 30-day free trial with no credit card. The first 50 customers keep $19/mo for as long as they stay. Details on the pricing page.

The privacy policy is written to be read. What we collect, why, and who touches it. Calendar access is read-only and your data never trains AI models.

The app takes shape

  • Sign in and begin adding your reports
  • Manager dashboard in progress
  • Thin Wire has a face now, the wire mark, favicon, and social cards

The name comes from a programming idea: ship the thin wire through the whole system first, the happy path end to end, then fill in the details. That’s how the app is being built. This week the wire reached from sign-in to a working prep view.

The waitlist is open

Thin Wire is an assistant for engineering managers. It’s designed to help EMs be more effective by getting context out of your head and captured. To start, Thin Wire will handle the weekly rhythm of 1-1s: helping you prep before, capture notes after and build up performance reviews over time rather than spending a two-week crunch at the end of cycle needing to do them all.

It’s being built right now. If that sounds like something you’d use, join the waitlist and you’ll hear as soon as there’s something to try.
