Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

Our privacy policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it in plain language.

What we collect

How we use it

We use your data to run the product and nothing else. That means finding your 1-1s, building prep digests, storing the notes you capture, and generating performance review drafts from those notes. We use your email to send account and product messages. We do not sell your data, and we do not show you ads.

Google Calendar data

Thin Wire's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google Calendar data only to provide and improve features you can see inside Thin Wire. We do not transfer this data to others except as needed to provide the service, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not use Google Calendar data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

AI-generated drafts

To generate prep digests and performance review drafts, we send the relevant notes to Anthropic, our AI provider, through its API. Anthropic processes this content to return a draft and does not use API data to train its models. The drafts are yours to edit. You stay in control of what you keep.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers we rely on to operate Thin Wire, and only as much as each one needs:

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our systems, and we ask our providers to do the same, within 30 days. We may keep a minimal record where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the data we hold, export it, correct it, or delete it. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your account settings or from your Google account permissions. To make any of these requests, email us at the address below.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your notes as the private working record they are.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, let you know by email.
